Brian Canavan Associates ensure projects are fully resourced. Our Practice will attend as required all necessary design team meetings and actively participate in same, and ensure that required information and advice is provided.
Brian Canavan Associates advocate the advantages of value management for schemes. By using value management as a structured method, it can eliminate waste from the clients brief, and as a team based approach will deliver to the client a building fulfilling the required functions to the required quality at the least cost.
We have assisted Clients with value engineering on a number of projects. It is a facility we are keen to promote and we have found that increasing numbers of clients are recognising the benefits which value engineering brings to a project. Greater benefits of value engineering occur from larger projects and we will react to the client’s requirements in this respect.
As a Practice we also recognise the importance of cost planning and cost checking at various design stages.
We have used life cycle costing with discounted cash flows to carry out appraisals on various types of projects · Leisure centres · Schools · Public Housing
The Practice has been involved in construction projects for a variety of schools, universities and commercial premises. Experience and knowledge has been gained to deliver professional expertise to meet the Client requirements in todays ever changing commercial and social environment. |
